Performing Solidarity and Compassion is a performance  of artworks by the #AJRR collaborative project at the Palestine Museum Cape Town, South Africa. As part of Qalandiya International this year, AJRR will be performing various artworks themed around compassion and resistance as an expression of solidarity with the fight for democracy and equality of Palestine.

About the Artists:

#AJRR is a creative partnership between Adam- Jon Williams and Rose Gelderblom Waddilove. Our focus is performance art and critiquing the status quo through subversive interventions. Our aim is to make creative practise as accessible as possible whilst maintaining a level of social commentary that is relevant and engaging. Since the project’s inception in 2014 #AJRR has performed and exhibited in several spaces from fringe art fairs and commercial galleries to socially contested spaces throughout South Africa and Palestine.
